All Good NW has been selected as the shelter operator for the Multnomah Safe Rest Village (SRV), as they have a depth of experience operating alternative outdoor shelters and bringing services to those they serve. Andy Goebel, their Executive Director, and our SRV team attended the Multnomah Neighborhood Association’s SRV Work Group yesterday, prompting this reflection from Chris Dearth, one Work Group member:
"We are all extremely fortunate that there are good people in this world like Andy and his team, willing to dedicate themselves to work with folks far less fortunate than ourselves…I am so impressed with Andy's and All Good's experience and expertise which they will bring to our SRV here in Multnomah. Their high staffing levels, willingness to work with the neighborhood, their dedication to be a ‘good community member,’ and especially their focus on the ‘intrinsic good of all human beings’ are admirable.”
We’re excited to have All Good join our team, too!
“We’re thrilled to be welcomed to the neighborhood, and excited about being good neighbors,” All Good Executive Director Andy Goebel said. “When we come into a space, we want to be a part of the neighborhood. It’s great to feel that welcome for our organization, and we’re excited that villagers will experience that same sort of welcome. That’s incredibly helpful for people who have traditionally been marginalized. It will go a long way towards their stability and success.”
