Nashville and Portland are both globally recognized music cities—each with legacies that have driven broader economic growth, supported private-sector workforce development, and attracted music tourism. But while Nashville offers valuable lessons in leveraging cultural assets for civic gain, its experience also presents critical cautionary tales for Portland.

Hi friends,
Mark your calendars! Beginning this Friday, September 26th, Councilor Dunphy will be hosting ongoing, informal constituent coffees at Parkrose Coffee to connect directly with community members.

The first coffee conversation will be hosted at Parkrose Coffee on Friday, September 26th from 12:00PM-3:00PM.

These gatherings will provide an opportunity for residents to share their ideas, raise concerns, and hear updates on City Council initiatives in a relaxed, conversational setting. We want to ensure that local voices are represented in policy discussions.

Please attend, bring questions, and participate in open dialogue with one of your local District 1 Councilors!

We look forward to connecting with you!
