Hey Portland,
It feels like our city is facing threats from all sides. We're seeing the federal government slide toward authoritarianism, and levels of aggressive immigration enforcement that we've never seen before. As an individual, it's easy to feel powerless when the systems are being weaponized against us. But here's the thing: we DO have the power to change lives.
The organizations on this page and the Portlanders behind them are working hard to close the gaps being ripped in our social safety net and catch those who are most at risk of falling through the cracks. You'll be able to see what they need and how to get in contact. Please be patient if you do reach out – smaller, grassroots organizations don't always have the capacity to email or call back right away.
