Councilor Avalos Hosts the 2026 D1 People's Picnic

Label: Community event
East Portland, last year's D1 People's Picnic was a blast! More than 300 East Portland neighbors came out with their friends, family, and community to enjoy food, music, and each other's company. I'm only planning to make the event better in Year Two.
12:00 pm to 3:00 pm

Note about the weather: My office is creating an alternative plan to hold the People's Picnic indoors if it's too smoky outside. As of Wednesday (8/5), high temperatures and hazardous smoke are not forecasted for Saturday but my office is closely monitoring the weather and will update Portlanders closer to the event.
