Registration for virtual testimony closes 1 hour prior to the start of the meeting. In-person testifiers must sign up before the agenda item is heard. Please call 311 if you need registration assistance.
Testimony is only heard on resolutions, public hearings, and the first reading of ordinances (testimony may be heard on reports at the presiding officer's discretion). Testimony is not heard on public communications, second reading of ordinances, or presentations in accordance with City Code.
When testifying during the meeting, state your name for the record. If you are a lobbyist appearing on behalf of a lobbying entity, you must also declare which lobbying entity you are authorized to represent in your testimony. (The City’s lobbying regulations can be found in City Code Chapter 2.12.)
