As part of the Water Bureau's efforts to increase the amount of water available on Portland's west side for firefighting and earthquake preparedness, we will construct a new 175,000-gallon water storage tank in Forest Park.

New traffic signals at: SW Naito Parkway & SW Whitaker St, SE 52nd Ave & SE Woodstock St, NE MLK Blvd & NE Going St, E Burnside St & SE 16th Ave, SE Washington St & SE 86th Ave, SE 148th Ave & SE Main St, NE Glisan St & NE 113th Ave, plus street lighting on NE Glisan St from NE 82nd-162nd

The Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) is infilling sidewalk along the south side of SE Washington St from SE 80th Ave to 82nd Ave and closure of several driveways. The project is funded by Fixing Our Streets and Civil Rights Education and Enforcement Center (CREEC).

On September 4, 2019 City Council heard a Report from Procurement on the Regular Agenda to accept the Guaranteed Maximum Price of $978,978 from McKinstry to implement Phase 1 of the ESPC and enter into the Design-Build Contract for Phase 1 work.

Thanks to funding from System Development Charges, Parklane Park will be expanded from 5 acres to 25 acres.

Cedar Commons, a new development by Related Northwest and Central City Concern in the Powellhurst-Gilibert neighborhood, provides 60 affordable units targeted to people exiting homelessness.

The Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) is constructing a series of design changes on the Tillamook-Hancock Neighborhood Greenway between NE 28th and NE 62nd avenues. Phase 1 from N Flint to NE 28th was completed in 2019.

This project will improve conditions pedestrians and people biking by reducing vehicle speeding, reducing auto traffic volumes, upgrading crossings of busy streets, and creating new connections to existing bicycle and pedestrian infrastructure on or near SW and NW 20th Ave.

The Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) will construct improvements on key pedestrian and bicycle routes in the Jade District and Montavilla neighborhood, connecting various neighborhood hubs in Southeast Portland.

This project comprises Phase Two of the Lents Town Center Improvements. It will address long-deferred roadway maintenance needs as well as provide safety improvements for all modes of transportation.

The122nd Avenue Plan identifies improvements to increase safety and improve access for all. Plan recommendations include changes to the street cross-section, additional enhanced crossings, lighting, signal changes, and more.

The Henry in Downtown Portland is a 173-unit development owned by Central City Concern that serves some of the city’s most vulnerable residents.

Habitat for Humanity Portland/Metro East has constructed the 30-unit Kenton Townhomes to provide affordable homeownership opportunities for families in the Kenton neighborhood.

Habitat for Humanity Portland/Metro East’s Olin Townhomes development consists of 12 affordable homes for families in the Portsmouth neighborhood.

King + Parks is a new construction, 70-unit multifamily rental project developed by PCRI in the Piedmont neighborhood.

The Renaissance Commons project is a new construction, 189-unit multifamily rental project developed by REACH CDC in Kenton neighborhood in the Interstate Corridor Urban Renewal Area.

The Nick Fish is a mixed-income, mixed-use development in the Gateway area providing 52 affordable units and commercial space for office and retail uses.
