The Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) will construct missing sidewalk on NE Killingsworth Street and NE Prescott Street between NE 42nd Avenue and NE Cully Boulevard. Sidewalk construction also includes rebuilding corner ramps and driveway connections, where needed.

This project will improve conditions for people walking and biking on NW Flanders between Tom McCall Waterfront Park and NW 24th Avenue by upgrading crossings of busy streets and connecting new and existing bicycle and pedestrian infrastructure.

The Portland Water Bureau is building a Filtration Facility and Pipelines that will be key components of a more resilient water system. The Filtration Facility and Pipelines are needed to meet federal and state drinking water regulations and will be in operation by Sept. 30, 2027.

Portland Parks & Recreation has begun to shape the future of the South Park Blocks; one of Portland’s oldest and most popular parks. Rows of tall trees, native plantings, and colorful roses will remain key features, while we consider updates to make the blocks more welcoming and accessible for all.

In March 2019, Portland Parks & Recreation received a safety and structural stability assessment of Montavilla Park’s picnic shelter. The report indicates that the structure is presumed to be unsafe and must be removed to ensure visitor safety.
