Construction to begin in 2021
The Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) will construct pedestrian crossing improvements across I-405 on W Burnside and NW Couch as well as operational improvements for people driving in the area.
Construction starts April 2021
The Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) will construct missing sidewalk on NE Killingsworth Street and NE Prescott Street between NE 42nd Avenue and NE Cully Boulevard. Sidewalk construction also includes rebuilding corner ramps and driveway connections, where needed.

Safer Shoulders is a new program for providing interim pedestrian facilities throughout the city where sidewalk construction is not financially possible.

In March 2019, Portland Parks & Recreation received a safety and structural stability assessment of Montavilla Park’s picnic shelter. The report indicates that the structure is presumed to be unsafe and must be removed to ensure visitor safety.
