Council Crest Sewer and Stormwater Project

This project is in an early evaluation and information gathering phase. Design for the project will likely not begin until 2021. Construction is not expected until 2022 or later.
Environmental Services is investigating pipes and stormwater facilities in the Council Crest Neighborhood in preparation for a project that will replace or repair aging public sewer pipes, improve stormwater management, and support healthy habitat.
Design is expected to continue through December 2022. Construction is expected to begin in April 2023 and take about two years to complete.
Environmental Services is designing a stormwater management project in the Portsmouth neighborhood to reduce the amount of pollution entering the Columbia Slough. This project is part of a larger effort to improve water and sediment quality in the Columbia Slough.

North Slabtown Sewer Project

Construction is anticipated to begin in Fall 2024 and take up to a year to complete.
Environmental Services is beginning the design stage of the North Slabtown Sewer Project. This project will repair or replace approximately 3,569 feet of aging public sewer pipes throughout your neighborhood. Taking these actions now will help protect public health and the environment.
