Mt. Tabor Maintenance Yard Project

Mt. Tabor Yard serves as the central dispatch for PP&R maintenance and nursery services for over 160 employees who are responsible for maintaining parks facilities and services across the city.
SE 150th and Division Street Park Master Plan

The master plan for SE 150th and Division Street Park reflects a collaborative effort involving neighbors and community groups to create a welcoming space with activities for people of all ages.
Forest Park Entrance and Nature Center

The new parking area is now open to the community for use.
The Entrance and Nature Center will provide an inclusive welcoming entrance to Forest Park. The entrance is under construction now. In a future phase (timeline TBD), the Nature Center will showcase the park’s special character and its timeless importance to Portland and the greater region.

Mt. Scott Community Center Seismic Retrofit and Expansion Project

Portland Parks & Recreation (PP&R) is preparing to rehabilitate and expand Mt. Scott Community Center (MSCC) to better serve current and future generations of Portlanders. The existing Mt. Scott pool and gymnasium will remain as is, along with the popular indoor skating rink.
Washington Park South Entry

Construction began February 2023 and is anticipated to continue until April 2024. During this time visitors to Washington Park should expect changing traffic patterns, short delays, and an excellent experience in the Park.

Mill Park Project

Mill Park is a 5.7 acre park next to Mill Park Elementary that has an informal soft-surface walking trail, open lawn, and mature trees, but is otherwise undeveloped. Thanks to funding from System Development Charges, PP&R now has funds to improve this park.
Farragut Park Improvements Project

In April 2021, Parks Commissioner Carmen Rubio allocated $1.75M in System Development Charges (SDCs) to add new equipment suited for toddlers and remove ADA barriers for better playground accessibility.
Berrydale Park Improvement Project

Interstate Firehouse Cultural Center Feasibility Study

Red Electric Trail

This project will create design and construction drawings to build a western segment of the Red Electric Trail, from SW Shattuck Road to SW Cameron Road. The trail will eventually connect to PBOT's recently constructed bridge within the eastern edge of the trail.

This project will extend the North Parks Block to include the "PNCA Block," the block between NW Hoyt and Glisan Streets. It will also include park blocks further north, to be developed fully at a later date.
