The Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) will be improving the walkability of NE Alameda St by installing ~250 ft of sidewalk, redesigning the intersection of NE 77th Ave, installing 8 new ramps, and marking new crosswalks as part of PBOT's Safe Routes to School.
SE Gladstone St - SE Center St: SE 52nd Ave Crossing Improvement Project

SW 16th Ave and College St Sewer Project

Environmental Services is repairing approximately 350 feet of public sewer pipe along SW 16th Avenue in the undeveloped right-of-way between SW College and SW Upper Hall streets. Repairing this aging and damaged sewer pipe will help protect public health and the environment.

Environmental Services is designing a project to replace more than 400-feet of sewer piping in the Reed neighborhood in Southeast Portland. The project will protect public health and the environment by increasing sewer capacity and helping to prevent sewage releases to buildings and local streets.

SW Alder-Harvey Milk Sewer Project

Project design continues. Construction is anticipated to begin in March of 2025 and take a year and a half to complete.
Environmental Services is designing a project to repair 9,700 feet, or almost 2 miles, of aging public sewer pipes in downtown Portland. Having provided 140 years of service, the pipes require repairs to reduce risks of basement flooding and sewage releases to downtown buildings and streets.
