The Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) is building immediate connections and safety improvements in Portland's pedestrian, bicycle, transit, and traffic calming networks.

Cedar Commons, a new development by Related Northwest and Central City Concern in the Powellhurst-Gilibert neighborhood, provides 60 affordable units targeted to people exiting homelessness.

Crews and contractors with the Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) will repave, add traffic signals and turn lanes, widen sidewalks, and build bike improvements along NE 60th Avenue and Halsey Street. This will improve traffic flow and make it safer for pedestrians and people biking or driving.

This project will improve conditions pedestrians and people biking by reducing vehicle speeding, reducing auto traffic volumes, upgrading crossings of busy streets, and creating new connections to existing bicycle and pedestrian infrastructure on or near SW and NW 20th Ave.

These Local Improvement Districts (LID) will construct street, sidewalk, and stormwater improvements on portions of NE 97th Avenue and on E Burnside, NE Davis, and NE Couch streets.

This project comprises Phase Two of the Lents Town Center Improvements. It will address long-deferred roadway maintenance needs as well as provide safety improvements for all modes of transportation.

The 122nd Avenue Plan identifies improvements to increase safety and improve access for all. Plan recommendations include changes to the street cross-section, additional enhanced crossings, lighting, signal changes, and more.

The Henry in Downtown Portland is a 173-unit development owned by Central City Concern that serves some of the city’s most vulnerable residents.

Habitat for Humanity Portland/Metro East has constructed the 30-unit Kenton Townhomes to provide affordable homeownership opportunities for families in the Kenton neighborhood.

Habitat for Humanity Portland/Metro East’s Olin Townhomes development consists of 12 affordable homes for families in the Portsmouth neighborhood.

The Hazel Ying Lee Apartments, a new multifamily construction project from Home Forward, brings 206 affordable rental units to Creston-Kenilworth.

Crescent Court is a new 138-unit, affordable multifamily construction project from Related Northwest and Central City Concern in the Powellhurst-Gilbert neighborhood.

Innovative Housing, Inc. is redeveloping the Anna Mann property to provide 128 affordable rental units in Kerns neighborhood, adjacent to Laurelhurst.

Related Northwest and Catholic Charities developed Cathedral Village, a new multifamily construction project consisting of 110 affordable rental units in St. Johns.

The Joyce, from Community Partners for Affordable Housing, is a redevelopment project in Downtown Portland providing 66 units for people exiting homelessness.

Hacienda CDC constructed Las Adelitas, a new 142-unit multifamily project, in NE Portland’s Cully neighborhood.

Our Just Future has created 93 affordable homes at the Aurora, a new multifamily rental project in the Glenfair neighborhood.

Emmons Place is a new construction and redevelopment project by Northwest Housing Alternatives that will create 144 affordable units in Northwest Portland.

The Starlight, Central City Concern’s new construction project in Old Town, replaces an existing building to create 100 deeply affordable units for people experiencing homelessness.
