NW 22nd Ave Sewer Extension Project

Construction begins the week of March 9 and will take up to a month to complete.
Environmental Services will be installing approximately 100-feet of sewer pipe on NW 22nd Ave south of NW Johnson St. This will resolve nonconforming sewer connections and provide properties independent connections to the public sewer.

Marine Drive Outfall Decommission Project

Design continues and construction is not anticipated to begin until Winter 2027.
Environmental Services is designing a project to repair or decommission 13 outfalls in North Portland and I-5 along North Marine Drive. This project will assure certification and accreditation of the levees and maintain active status with FEMA.
Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) is working to improve traffic safety on SE César E Chávez Boulevard from Lafayette Court to Schiller Street. Participate in the online open house and survey now open through March 23, 2026.

Broadway Main Street Project

The Broadway Main Street project advances safety, accessibility, and placemaking through major streetscape improvements along the N/NE Broadway & Weidler couplet and N Larrabee Avenue in Lower Albina, in alignment with the equitable development strategy led by Albina Vision Trust.
