SW Troy Neighborhood Greenway

SW Taylors Ferry & SW 17th Ave Crossing Improvement

The Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) will create a safer crossing at SW Taylors Ferry Road and SW 17th Avenue by striping a crosswalk and creating a safer walking shoulder along SW 17th from Orchid to Taylors Ferry to provide a link in the Hillsdale – Lake Oswego Trail.

SE 89th Avenue & Taylor Street Local Improvement District

This Local Improvement District (LID) will construct street and sidewalk improvements on portions of SE Taylor Street and SE 89th Avenue next to Berrydale Park.

NW Reed Drive Local Improvement District

This Local Improvement District (LID) will construct street improvements on NW Reed Drive west of NW 83rd Place to the western terminus of the right-of-way.
Design in 2023-2024 and Construction in Summer 2025
This intersection safety project will rebuild the signal at SE Flavel and SE 72nd to include dedicated left hand turns and will add additional illumination to the intersection. The project will also update corner ramps to current ADA standards and improve poor pavement conditions.

NE Killingsworth Safer Crossings Project

PBOT will install nine safer crossings on NE Killingsworth including pedestrian islands and curb extensions. This project is in design and will construct the crossings in the summer of 2024 and summer 2025.

The Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) will reconfigure this roadway as a protected bike lane. The project limits are along S Bertha Blvd. from SW Vermont St. to SW Barbur Blvd. The intent is to reorganize the roadway to provide protected bike lanes.
