SE 155th Avenue & Main Street / Millmain Drive Local Improvement District

This Local Improvement District (LID) will be constructed adjacent to Parklane Park. Portland Parks and Recreation (PP&R) will be using Parks System Development Charge (SDC) funds for their participation in the LID. This project will improve access to the park and build a multimodal path.

Mason/Skidmore Neighborhood Greenway Project

The Mason/Skidmore Greenway will be a new east-west neighborhood greenway connecting to existing north-south greenways at NE 37th Avenue, NE Cully Blvd, and NE 77th Avenue.
Construction completed in spring/summer 2025.
The Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) will be improving the walkability of NE Alameda St by installing ~250 ft of sidewalk, redesigning the intersection of NE 77th Ave, installing 8 new ramps, and marking new crosswalks as part of PBOT's Safe Routes to School.

SE 89th Avenue & Taylor Street Local Improvement District

This Local Improvement District (LID) will construct street and sidewalk improvements on portions of SE Taylor Street and SE 89th Avenue next to Berrydale Park.

Kenton Priority Outfalls Plan

Planning work is expected to continue through early 2024.
Environmental Services is developing the Kenton Priority Outfalls Plan. This planning effort will protect public health and the environment by identifying ways to reduce pollutants in stormwater entering the Columbia Slough. 

NE Grand and NE Schuyler Sewer Project

Construction is currently paused.
Environmental Services has started construction on a sewer project to repair 165 feet of public sewer piping in the Lloyd neighborhood. The project will protect public health, property, and the environment by increasing the capacity of the public sewer system.
Construction is expected to begin in June 2024 and take about 5 months to complete.
Environmental Services is in the early stages of design on a stormwater management project in the northern portion of the Woodlawn neighborhood. This project is part of a larger effort to improve water and sediment quality in the Columbia Slough.

NE Multnomah and NE 19th Sewer Project

Construction is expected to begin June 2024 and take up to 5 months to complete.
Environmental Services is designing a project to upsize 223 feet of sewer pipe, replace four public sewer connections to private property, and add one new maintenance hole in the Sullivan's Gulch neighborhood. The project will reduce the possibility of sewage releases to buildings and streets.

NE Killingsworth Safer Crossings Project

PBOT will install nine safer crossings on NE Killingsworth including pedestrian islands and curb extensions. This project is in design and will construct the crossings in the summer of 2024 and summer 2025.

NE MLK and Russell Sewer Project

Construction is expected to start in June 2024 and take about four months to complete.
Environmental Services is designing a project to upsize 583 feet of sewer pipe, replace 20 public sewer connections to private property, and add three new maintenance holes in the Eliot neighborhood. These improvements will reduce the possibility of sewage releases to buildings and streets.
