Construction is expected to begin in Fall 2025. Work will be completed by Summer 2027.
Environmental Services is constructing a project to remodel and expand the NE 33rd Drive Pump Station in the Sunderland district. Upgrades to the 50-year-old pump station will enhance equipment, increase system capacity, and protect public health and the environment from overflow and sewage leakage.
NE Columbia Boulevard at NE 11th Pedestrian Crossing

The Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) plans to construct a median island pedestrian crossing adjacent to the Oregon Human Society building at NE Columbia Boulevard at NE 11th Ave.
NE 33rd and Elrod Culvert Project

Design will continue through summer 2026. Construction is expected to begin in spring 2027.
Environmental Services is in the early stages of design on a culvert replacement project at the intersection of NE 33rd and Elrod. This project is part of a larger effort to improve water quality in the Columbia Slough.
