4M Neighborhood Greenway: SE 130th Avenue to SE 174th Avenue

The 4M Neighborhood Greenway will be constructed on SE Mill St., SE Millmain Dr., and SE Main St. between SE 130th Ave. and SE 174th Ave. It will create new opportunities for people to walk, bike, and roll on streets running parallel to the high-traffic SE Stark and SE Division corridors.

The majority of this project has been completed. Sidewalks, street crossings, bikeway facilities, paved paths, and other safety improvements have been constructed on the 150s Neighborhood Greenway and the 100s Neighborhood Greenway. Work is ongoing for a portion of the 4M Neighborhood Greenway.

122nd Avenue Plan: Safety, Access, Transit

The122nd Avenue Plan identifies improvements to increase safety and improve access for all. Plan recommendations include changes to the street cross-section, additional enhanced crossings, lighting, signal changes, and more.

Mill Park Project

Mill Park is a 5.7 acre park next to Mill Park Elementary that has an informal soft-surface walking trail, open lawn, and mature trees, but is otherwise undeveloped. Thanks to funding from System Development Charges, PP&R now has funds to improve this park.

The Master Plan for Mill Park was drawn from the thoughtful ideas and feedback provided by diverse communities in East Portland. It reflects a collaboration involving neighbors and community groups to create a welcoming space with activities for people of all ages.

Division-Midway Neighborhood Street Improvement Project

Construction: 2023-2024
The Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) will be improving several local streets in the Division-Midway area by paving gravel streets, adding sidewalks or walkways, or a combination. Funding comes from the Local Transportation Infrastructure Charge (LTIC) and other sources.
Parklane Park Local Improvement District

This Local Improvement District (LID) will be constructed adjacent to Parklane Park. Portland Parks and Recreation (PP&R) will be using Parks System Development Charge (SDC) funds for their participation in the LID. This project will improve access to the park and build a multimodal path.
