SW Kingston Avenue Stormwater Improvements

Construction has begun and is anticipated to be completed by end of March 2024.
Environmental Services is installing two underground stormwater management facilities on SW Kingston Avenue. The stormwater improvements will reduce the risks of sewage releases to homes, businesses, and streets.
Tanner Trunk Sewer Project

Construction is expected to start in June 2024 and will take about five months to complete.
Environmental Services is designing a project to replace 800 feet of large-diameter brick sewer pipes located in Highway 26 south of Washington Park. These repairs are necessary to maintain reliable sewer service and protect public health and the environment.
Bristlecone Pine Trail ADA Accessibility Improvements Project

This project is funded by the Metro Regional Parks & Nature Bond Local Share approved by voters in 2019. The Bristlecone Pine Trail Accessibility Improvements Project will renovate the existing 1-mile out and back trail and the parking lot that serves as a trailhead.
Hypochlorite Building Upgrade

Winter 2023 to Summer 2025
The Water Bureau will upgrade the Hypochlorite Building at Washington Park Reservoir. Aside from exterior doors, upgrades will happen inside the building. Built in 1981, this simple structure fulfills another critical role: allowing us to serve clean and safe water to the west side of Portland.
