NE 105th and Marx Pump Station Project

The project is in the design phase. Construction is anticipated to begin in May 2025 and it will take about 18 months to complete.
Environmental Services is designing a project to upgrade and expand the aging pump station located at NE Marx Street and 105th Avenue in the Parkrose neighborhood. The project will modernize equipment, increase system capacity, and help protect public health and the environment.
Parkrose Neighborhood Greenway

The Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) created the Parkrose Neighborhood Greenway to establish low-stress neighborhood streets that are great places to walk, bike, and roll. The greenway connects the Parkrose Neighborhood on NE 115th Ave and on NE Skidmore Street.
NE Shaver Sidewalk: NE 115th to Parkrose Middle School

Began construction on July 8, 2024
Contractors will build sidewalk on the south side of NE Shaver Street between NE 115th Avenue and Parkrose Middle School campus. A total of seven new ADA ramps will be built at the corners of NE Shaver and 115th and 116th avenues.

Construction crews will build sidewalk and new ADA curb ramps on the south side of NE Shaver Street to connect this key school route for Parkrose Middle and High School students.
NE 131st Place and Prescott Drive: Traffic Calming and Placemaking

The Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) will oversee construction of traffic calming speed bumps on NE 131st Place between NE Shaver and Prescott Drive and a traffic circle at the intersection of Prescott Drive. Community-inspired street paintings will be installed along the project area.
