The Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) will construct a median island pedestrian crossing adjacent to the Oregon Human Society building at NE Columbia Boulevard at NE 11th Ave.

Columbia Slough Outfall 65 Stormwater Project

Design will continue over the next year and a half. Construction is expected to begin summer 2024 and take about 9 months to complete.
Environmental Services is in the early stages of design on a stormwater management project in the northern portion of the Woodlawn neighborhood. This project is part of a larger effort to improve water and sediment quality in the Columbia Slough.
