NE 148th Ave: Halsey-Glisan

East Burnside Safety Improvements

Simpson Greenway/42nd Ave Crossing

This project will add a new neighborhood greenway on NE 41st Ave from Holman to Simpson Ct, Simpson Ct from 41st to Simpson St, and Simpson St from Simpson Ct to 55th. This will connect the existing Holman Greenway and the upcoming 50s Greenway in the Cully neighborhood.
SE 102nd Avenue and Woodstock Blvd. LID

Mount Tabor Reservoirs Historic Fencing Repair

The Water Bureau hired a skilled blacksmith to repair the historic ironwork fencing around Reservoirs 5 and 6. The blacksmith restored wrought iron fence, tapered tower light posts, and decorative scroll work.
NW Thurman St. - Landslide Restoration

The Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) will mitigate the landslide that impacted both 3481 and 3469 NW Thurman St. along with the surrounding area. The method of mitigation consists of excavation, placement of compacted backfill (aggregate) along with layers of geotextile fabric.
NE Marine Drive Rumble Strips and Conflict Markings Project

The Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) will improve safety on NE Marine Drive from NE 33rd to 185th avenues by laying new striping and pavement markings to increase the visibility of lane limits and installing rumble streets. The changes will reduce crashes caused by lane departures.
SE 45th Ave Paving and Restriping Project

In September 2019, SE 45th Avenue from SE Glenwood Street to SE Harney Street will undergo preventative maintenance, including repaving and restriping and adding protected bike lanes.
20s Bikeway Project

The 20s Bikeway provides a major new link in Portland’s bikeway network. The 9.1-mile long route spans the length of the city, from the Springwater Corridor in the south to NE Lombard St in the north, connecting many neighborhoods with some of the highest rates of bicycle commuting in the country.
SE 19th Avenue Neighborhood Greenway

The SE 19th Avenue Neighborhood Greenway is a low traffic, “low stress” biking and walking route that runs north-south through the Sellwood-Moreland neighborhood.

Southwest Main Street, a key entrance into downtown Portland for people biking, walking, and driving, has received a much-needed face-lift, with recent completion of a rebuild of the pavement and realignment of the bike lane, thanks to the voter-approved Fixing Our Streets Program.
Gabriel Park Inclusive Playground Project

The playground opened to the community on Saturday, May 14, 2022.
A new, more inclusive and accessible play area has replaced the playground at SW 37th Avenue and Vermont Street.
Tacoma Street Neighborhood Traffic Management Project

The purpose of this project was to reduce cut-through traffic from the Sellwood Bridge onto neighborhood streets. The project installed speed bumps on six local streets both north and south of SE Tacoma St to discourage their use by non-local traffic and reduce associated speeding.
SW Vermont Street

This project will repave all of SW Vermont St and between SW 30th Ave and the Portland city limit near SW 65th Ave. Sections of subgrade repair are also included within the scope of the project.
Gateway Green Project

Gateway Green provides a much-needed site for off-road cycling and other outdoor recreation in East Portland. When fully built, a system of soft-surface and paved multi-use trails will allow visitors to explore the unique site and connect to the regional trail and cycling network.
