The Tillamook Neighborhood Greenway Enhancement project is a series of safety and design changes between NE Flint and NE 28th that enhance an essential existing link in our low-stress walking and biking network.

The Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) constructed new sidewalks on SE 112th to improve walking connections along a large north-south corridor and connect destinations like Kelly Butte Natural Area, Floyd Light Middle School, and Mall 205.

This project has been completed. Sidewalks, street crossings, bikeway facilities, paved paths, and other safety improvements have been constructed on the 150s Neighborhood Greenway and the 100s Neighborhood Greenway, as well as a portion of the 4M Neighborhood Greenway.

Hillside Park’s grass athletic field will be closed from August 27, 2018, through March 1, 2019, while undergoing much-needed renovation.

The Parks Replacement Bond-funded electrical systems and roof replacement work is now complete.

This project is constructing new sidewalks, ADA-accessible corner ramps, and signalized pedestrian crossings on SE Division Street between SE 101st and SE 143rd. It is also constructing the 130s Neighborhood Greenway between the I-84 multi-use path and the Springwater Corridor Trail.

This project improves conditions for people walking and biking on NW Flanders between Tom McCall Waterfront Park and NW 24th Avenue by upgrading crossings of busy streets and connecting new and existing bicycle and pedestrian infrastructure.

PBOT will repave NE Alberta Street between 15th and 30th Avenues. Over 60 sidewalk corners will be rebuilt to create ADA-accessible curb ramps.

The East Portland Arterial Streets Strategy (EPASS) informs new designs for 11 large, busy streets - "arterials" - east of NE/SE 82nd Avenue, including safety enhancements and some changes to the number of vehicle lanes. Many of the recommended projects are in design or under construction.

The NW Everett Bus Lane project improved transit reliability and access to the Rose Quarter by creating a Bus and Turn (BAT) lane approaching the Steel Bridge. This project was identified as a priority during the Central City in Motion planning process.

This project created a new bus lane running eastbound across the Burnside Bridge starting at W 2nd Avenue and extending to 12th Avenue on the eastside.

The SW Madison Bus/Bike Lane project provides more reliable bus rides and more safety by bicyclists by creating a new bus and bike lane approaching the Hawthorne Bridge.

Portland Parks & Recreation has begun to shape the future of the South Park Blocks; one of Portland’s oldest and most popular parks. The Mayor and City Commissioners unanimously accepted the South Park Blocks Master Plan on Wednesday, July 21, 2021.

The Sellwood Gap (SE Umatilla to SE 13th Avenue) trail project will help close the gap between the Springwater on the Willamette Trail with the Springwater Corridor Trail by providing an off-street 12-foot path parallel to the Oregon Pacific mainline track from SE Umatilla to SE 13th Avenue.
