This project improved wayfinding, 9-1-1 dispatching, and emergency response improvements by readdressing former portion of Southwest Portland as South Portland and standardizing the spelling of street names effective May 1, 2020. U.S. Postal Service delivered mail to old addresses through 4/30/21.

The Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT) is constructing a neighborhood greenway to link the I-205 Gateway area and NE 128th Avenue, providing a key connection between the 100s Neighborhood Greenway and the 130s Neighborhood Greenway.
NW Front Avenue - Naito Parkway LID

This project consisted of pavement rehabilitation, changing a five-lane cross section to a three-lane cross section while adding buffered bike lanes and new bus stops to improve access to transit.
NW 20th Avenue LID: Reconnecting Slabtown and NW Portland

This project reconnected the Slabtown neighborhood and NW Portland by extending NW 20th Avenue and NW Thurman Street. This created a new intersection and a new, more efficient route for drivers and pedestrians in this growing area.

N Willamette Blvd Restriping Project (2017)

To improve the safety, accessibility, and comfort for people walking, taking transit and bicycling, PBOT will be re-striping N Willamette Blvd from N Rosa Parks to N Woolsey to include a shoulder area on the south (bluff) side of the street for transit access and pedestrian space.

St. Johns Truck Strategy - Phase II

Phase II of the St. Johns Truck Strategy implements three of eight sub-projects: two traffic calming/safety projects to calm traffic on N St. Louis-Fessenden Sts and a third sub-project to address multi-modal issues associated with the N Lombard freight route between N St. Louis and N Bruce.
