Portland's Safe Blocks Program wants to hear from you! We are interested in your opinions and feelings about safety in your local area, especially if you live, work, or are connected to one of the following neighborhoods:

  • Cully;
  • Eliot;
  • Hazelwood;
  • Lents;
  • Portsmouth; and
  • Powellhurst-Gilbert.

Background

The survey will help the Safe Blocks Program assess and evaluate Portland's federal Byrne Grant to fund place-based community violence intervention programming in Hazelwood, Eliot, and Powellhurst-Gilbert neighborhoods. Projects are expected to continue through 2027 while funds remain.
