National Night Out is a nationwide event that brings neighbors together with local public safety agencies in a fun, family-friendly setting. Meet the people who serve your community, learn about programs and services, and build relationships that help create safer, stronger neighborhoods.

- 5 to 5:12 p.m. - Welcome and opening remarks from City and County leaders
- 5:12 to 5:30 p.m. - Explore exhibits and family activities

Public Safety Demonstrations & Exhibits
Explore interactive exhibits from public safety partners and experience live demonstrations from the Portland Police Bureau. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about specialized public safety equipment, meet first responders, and view emergency response vehicles.
Featured demonstrations and exhibits include:
- Portland Police Bureau Metro Explosive Disposal Unit (MEDU), featuring a Dog Robot, Small Robot, and Detection K9
- Portland Police Bureau K9 Unit
