Community event
Join together in community to attend the Safe Blocks Community Safety Resource Fair on Saturday, February 28, 2026 from 12-3 p.m. at the East Portland Community Center.

We will have multiple government-based programs and community-based organizations providing information about community safety services and resources, especially for East Portlanders.
There will also be three workshops to learn more about some of the services offered. The following is the schedule for the workshops:
- 12:15-12:45: Portland Street Response (PSR) and Portland Community Health Assessment Team (CHAT) Info Session and Q&A
- 1:00-1:30: CARES Northwest "Collective Responsibility: Power, Consent and Raising Safe Kids"
- 1:45-3:00: Portland Bureau of Emergency Management (PBEM): Community Emergency Preparedness Training.
There will also be free food for attendees provided by Ta Bueno Ne and face painting by Mystique! We look forward to this unique opportunity to come and learn together in a safe community.
