Registration open for Rose City Self-Defense's April classes

Youth Safety & Self-Defense Class

• Mondays, April 6th, 13th, and 20th
• 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
• Sellwood Community House (1436 SE Spokane Street, Portland OR 97202).

This Empowerment Self-Defense class is a student-centered training, designed to help youth identify their risks, evaluate their strengths, and explore their options for dealing with the threat of violence, including physical self-defense escapes and strikes.

Open to youth ages 11 through 14. Youth may attend alone or be accompanied by an adult (women-identifying, non-binary person comfortable in a space that centers on the experiences of girls or LGBTQIA2S+).

Snacks provided for all attendees.
