Intermediate Classes (ages 18 and up)

Information

Please fill out our online registration form on or after the registration date listed for each month.

  • Please plan to attend all sessions at the location you select.
  • Please cancel your registration before the first session if you cannot attend all three
    sessions.

Defense Against Weapons Class

The Intermediate Weapons Class is open to students who have taken our Introductory class within the past 2 years. Must be 18 years or older.

 

APRIL CLASS

registration opens Tuesday, March 3rd @ 6:00 

Tuesday April 21st and Thursday April 23rd from 6:00-9:00 pm in the Foster/Powell Neighborhood

 

Learning Objectives in this class are:

  1. Develop the mindset that attacks can happen to you, control fear to reduce lag time, and train so you can sort out your defensive and offensive responses, especially involving firearms.
  2. Learn basic knowledge about weapons so you can assess what aggressors are willing to compromise, negotiate, or give up, eliminating confusion of how to handle several scenarios.
  3. Practice verbally disarming a person with a weapon, gun, knife, or bat.
  4. Practice physically disarming a person with a gun.
