We are offering a free Personal Safety & Self-Defense Workshop at the Multnomah County Midland Library (805 SE 122nd) on Wednesday, October 22 from 5:15-7:30 p.m.
This is the third session since July offered by Rose City Self-Defense and the Safe Blocks Program in collaboration with the library. This event honors October as Domestic Violence Awareness Month (DVAM). The training will offer content on identifying healthy and unhealthy relationships, as well as resources for folks who may be experiencing domestic violence or know someone in need of support.
All community members ages 10 and up are welcome. Please attend with an adult if you are between the ages of 10-14. Register on the library's website and join us!
When: Wednesday, October 22, 2025 from 5:15-7:30 p.m.
Where: Midland Library (805 SE 122nd Ave).
Snacks will be provided for all attendees.
