- National Domestic Violence Hotline - Internet Safety.
- Providence S.A.F.E. Center: comprehensive, trauma-informed medical care to individuals who have experienced sexual, physical, or psychological violence.
- Multnomah County Domestic & Sexual Violence Coordination Office (DSVCO): We help coordinate community responses to domestic and sexual violence and sex trafficking in Multnomah County.
- Bradley Angle Serving individuals and families of all genders experiencing domestic violence with emergency shelter and housing, specialized services/advocacy, support groups, and more.
- Raphael House Serving families and individuals of all genders experiencing domestic violence. Offering emergency shelter and housing, on-going advocacy, and support groups.
- Gateway Center for Domestic Violence Services Drop-in center for survivors of intimate partner violence in Multnomah County. Offering legal aid, public assistance, restraining orders, spiritual support, adult/children/youth/teen counseling, child care, and many other resources.
- Volunteers of America Home Free Supporting survivors of domestic violence with emergency housing, support groups, and children's services.
- West Women's & Children's Shelter (Salvation Army) Supporting survivors and those experiencing crisis through an emergency shelter.
- Clackamas Women's Services Supporting survivors of domestic violence in Clackamas County with counseling and support groups, emergency shelter, housing resources, and 24-hour crisis and support line.
- Domestic Violence Resource Center (DVRC) of Washington County Supporting survivors of domestic violence in Washington County and surrounding areas with advocacy emergency shelter, crisis line response, and safety planning.
- SARC (Sexual Assault Resource Center) Supporting survivors of sexual assault of all genders with a 24-hour crisis line, support groups, and advocacy services in Washington County.
- Victim Rights Law Center VRLC provides free civil legal services to sexual assault survivors.
- Oregon Crime Victims Law Center OCVLC provides free civil legal support to survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking.

What to Expect
- Please arrive promptly so we can get class started on time.
- Snacks provided!
- Bring your own water bottle.
- Make sure you can attend all three sessions in order.
- Dress comfortably and in layers. There are many “talking” sections as well as physical skills sections.
- Class material might be activating/triggering to people who have experienced assault, abusive relationships, and/or violence. The content can also bring up emotions even if you haven’t experienced any of these things. You can participate in class activities at your comfort level. If you have questions about specific content, you are welcome to contact us in advance at rosecityself-defense@portlandoregon.gov
- Communicate with your volunteer instructors if there is anything that would make class safe for you.
- You will receive an email reminder a few days before class with a pre-course survey.
