The Community Peace Collaborative (CPC) serves as a vital platform for information sharing and collaboration between the Office of Violence Prevention, internal and external stakeholders, community-based organizations, and community members. Held on the third Tuesday of each month from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m., the forum fosters dialogue around gun violence prevention efforts.

This forum will include the following:

  • Regular updates from OVP staff;
  • Problem solving and collaboration work sessions;
  • Workshops;
  • Presentations from community-based organizations; and
  • Panel discussions.

Recognizing the importance of collaboration in addressing gun violence, the CPC forum creates an open space for those engaged in this critical work to connect, share insights, and build relationships. Feedback and input from participants are encouraged to enhance the collective impact of our efforts. Together, we strive to build a safer Portland, and we invite all dedicated to this cause to join us in this ongoing dialogue.
