Wear Orange National Gun Violence Awareness Day

Community Event
The Portland Office of Violence Prevention and Portland Moms Demand Action are honoring victims and survivors of gun violence as we come together for "Wear Orange for National Gun Violence Awareness Day."
Wear Orange 2024
1:00 pm 4:00 pm

We have a powerful line-up of speakers and will also hear from survivors as they share their stories and bring awareness to the larger Portland community that gun violence is something that impacts our city everyday.

Visit with community organizations who are doing the work of prevention and healing, and learn how you can be a part of their efforts. There will be lots of resources and information to help families prepare to keep kids engaged and safe this summer.

Enjoy some delicious food, music, and performances as we take a moment to spread awareness and acknowledge what gun violence takes from our families and our city.
