Wear Orange National Gun Violence Awareness Day

We have a powerful line-up of speakers and will also hear from survivors as they share their stories and bring awareness to the larger Portland community that gun violence is something that impacts our city everyday.

Visit with community organizations who are doing the work of prevention and healing, and learn how you can be a part of their efforts. There will be lots of resources and information to help families prepare to keep kids engaged and safe this summer. Soul Box Project will have a display and boxes available to make in remembrance of loved ones lost to gun violence.

Enjoy some delicious food, music, and performances as we take a moment to spread awareness and acknowledge what gun violence takes from our families and our city.

Large letters in white and orange read "Wear Orange." Smaller letters read "Office of Violence Prevention with Moms Demand Action and The Soul Box Project presents" with "June 3, 2023, 1-4 p.m., Portland Community College Southeast, Great Hall, 2305 SE 82nd Ave"
