6.07.030 Levy of Tax.

(Amended by Resolution 37217 (approved at November 8, 2016 election); amended by Ordinance 191957, effective January 1, 2025.)

  1. A. Every seller exercising the taxable privilege of retail sales of marijuana within Portland is subject to and must pay a tax for exercising that privilege.
  2. B. The amount of tax levied is as follows:  Three percent of the retail sales price paid to the seller in a retail sale of marijuana to any consumer.
