6.06.160 Civil Penalties.

City Code Section
  1. A. The City Administrator may impose a civil penalty of up to $500 for each of the following violations of this Chapter:
    1. 1. Failure to file any registration within 90 days of the Division’s original written notice to file.
    2. 2. Failure to pay any fee installment within 90 days of the Division’s original written notice for payment.
  2. B. The City Administrator may only impose a civil penalty under this section if the Division gives notice of the potential for assessment of civil penalties for failure to comply in the original written preliminary determination notice issued under Sections 6.06.090 and 6.06.095.
  3. C. The determination of a violation and imposition of a civil penalty under this Section will be subject to appeal to the Code Hearings Officer under the provisions of Chapter 22.10 of this Code.
