24.70.030 Hazards.

  1. The Director may determine that any clearing, grading, retaining wall, or geologic condition on private property has or may become a hazard to life and limb, or endanger property, or cause erosion, or adversely affect drainage or the safety, use or stability of a public way or drainage channel.  Upon receipt of notice in writing from the Director, the owner shall mitigate the hazard and be in conformity with the requirements of this Title.  The Director may require that plans and specifications and engineering reports be prepared in compliance with this Chapter.
