2.14.100 Enforcement.

  1. If facts supporting an enforcement action exist, the City Auditor, in the name of the City, may initiate action in Multnomah County Circuit Court to enforce the provisions of this Chapter, including collection of any unpaid fees or civil penalties. The Auditor may bring such an action through independent legal counsel retained or employed by the Auditor, or may request that the City attorney provide such representation.  The City may seek enforcement of all provisions of this Chapter in the enforcement action, including but not limited to recovery of all fees and civil penalties assessed under this Chapter as well as enforcement of any other provision of this Chapter.  In any enforcement action, the City shall be entitled to recover any costs and attorneys’ fees incurred as a result of the violation of this Chapter.
