City Code Section
  1. It is unlawful for any person to violate any provision or to fail to comply with any requirement of this Code. Any person violating any provision or failing to comply with any requirement of this Code, unless provision is otherwise made herein, shall upon conviction thereof, be punished by a fine of not more than $500, or by imprisonment for a period of not more than 6 months, or by both such fine and imprisonment. However, no greater penalty shall be imposed than the penalty prescribed by the Oregon statute for the same act or omission. Each such person shall be guilty of a separate offense for each and every day during any portion of which any violation of any provision of this Code is committed, continued, or permitted by such person and may be punished accordingly. In addition to the penalties herein above provided, any condition caused or permitted to exist in violation of any provision of this Code is a public nuisance and may be summarily abated by the City as authorized by this Code. In addition, property shall be forfeited and City license may be suspended or revoked as provided in this Code.
