Information regarding City Code in 2025

City Code Title

Portland City Code has been substantially revised to align the City Code with the amended City Charter approved by voters in Portland Measure 26-228. The online version of the Code is currently being updated by the Council Clerk team, and each Title will be published as they are completed. See below to access the new version of each Title:

Effective January 1, 2025: Title 24 is available in TRIM. (Notes: Titles 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 15, 17, 18, 19, 22, 23, 25, 30, and 31 are all up-to-date online. Title 8 is repealed as of January 1, 2025.)

Effective January 3, 2025: Title 16 is available in TRIM. (Note: Titles 1, 10, 11, 20, 21, and 27 are up-to-date online.)

Effective January 10, 2025: Titles 12, 13, 14, 24, & 28 (Notes: Titles 26 and 29 are up-to-date online. There was a subsequent change to Title 24 that is reflected in the January 10th version.)
