Welcoming Week 2025 events
Celebrate Portland’s immigrant and refugee communities with a week of events, workshops, and storytelling!
Through Welcoming Week, Portland will rejoin hundreds of cities across the world that brings neighbors of all backgrounds together to build communities of belonging from Sept.ember12 to 21, 2025.
Here is a list of community-led events and activities to consider joining.

Welcoming Week Kick-off

Mayor Keith Wilson will read the Welcoming Week proclamation, joined by community leaders and representatives.

Know Your Rights & Resources Training

United for Peace: A Ukrainian Concert of Hope

A free, bilingual celebration of Ukrainian culture and resilience. Enjoy songs, poetry, and traditions from the Singing DAWN
ensemble as we come together to honor peace and community.
