On Nov. 5, 2024, Portlanders will be using ranked-choice voting to elect a mayor, an auditor, and three city councilors to represent their district. To help you be election ready, Civic Life is teaming up with the City of Portland’s voter education team to put on a mock election to practice ranking your vote.
We want to know – what kind of neighborhood events would you want to attend? With this vote, we’ll see how multi-winner ranked-choice voting works, as this method will be used to elect three city councilors within each district. City councilors will be elected only by Portland voters who live in their districts.
