Civic Life Welcomes Kareen Perkins as the Bureau's New Livability Supervisor

Kareen Perkins joined Civic Life on March 30 as the new Livability Supervisor, overseeing the Graffiti, Liquor, and Noise Programs. She has been in public service for her entire career and remains dedicated to providing timely, caring and efficient service to all. She has served for the past 20 years working the front lines in Bureau of Development Services to provide permitting services, in an equitable and accessible manner. She has served on numerous city-wide projects, most recently on the Portland Online Permitting System (POPS) migration which successfully launched in 2020, which provided significant technological advancements for all development bureaus.
