Renew a Liquor License

Service
Renew your annual liquor license with both Oregon Liquor Control Commission (OLCC) and the City of Portland. This is *not* a server permit.

The renewal process will take 5 to 10 minutes to complete

Gather necessary information for City renewal

Each year, the OLCC will send a letter to liquor license holders with renewal information. Follow the instructions in your letter to renew your annual liquor license with both the OLCC and the City of Portland by the named deadline.

The City will not accept renewal payments submitted more than three months in advance of the license expiration date.

The City does not issue servers permits.

Fee: $35

Lost or expired renewals: The license applicant must complete the renewal at least 20 days before the license expires to avoid late fees from the OLCC. Applicants cannot legally sell or serve alcohol after the license expires.

Use license renewal portal or mail it

We accept credit card and ACH (checking account) payments made online. We do not issue servers permits.
