The City of Portland is the local governing body for all establishments serving liquor within the boundaries of the city. We support people to serve alcohol in a way that brings people together safely and contributes to the vibrancy of our communities.

This realignment, effective April 1, results from the ongoing restructuring of bureaus and offices following voters’ approval of Ballot Measure 26-228 in November 2022.
