These free workshops are held with the intention of building a loose cohort and provide mentorship opportunities for people moving into anti-racist organizational or consultation work. This knowledge is often limited to institutions and this is an effort to provide free, public community resource-sharing. These sessions come from an abolitionist, trauma-informed and anti-racist perspective. Each training is followed up with a reflective discussion workshop, and there are opportunities to schedule free 1-on-1 consultation and mentorship time also (in Spring 2022). For the Transformative and Restorative Justice Training the group will go over the following:

*Identity and Intersectionality
*Inclusive Practice (how to work in terms of culture, race, access, abilities, etc)
*Cultural considerations when looking at justice models
*The connection between school, exclusion and criminalization
*Social context for restorative Justice
*Transformative Justice and abolition
*Trauma-sensitive practices
*New paradigms of harm reduction and TJ, and how that looks in schools
*Practical examples of implementation in a domestic violence setting, and with youth
