George Floyd. Ahmaud Arbery. Jacob Blake. Breonna Taylor and the list goes on. Now, more than ever we need practical skills to simply live through a police stop. The purpose of this virtual workshop is to equip our communities with tools, insights and resources necessary to advocate for healing justice. Participants will work through police stop scenarios, discover alternatives on how to navigate them and integrate practical strategies to advocate for justice and repair. Most importantly, we will share holistic ways to heal from the trauma of police brutality based on indigenous wisdom.
