The Disability Leadership Sponsorship and Grant opportunity supports work that offers concrete ways for people with disabilities, especially disabled people who experience oppression related to additional intersecting identities, to engage in local government and their communities.

This grant opportunity is now closed.


Available Funding

The Disability Leadership Sponsorship and Grant will have a total of $68,000 available in grants which will be distributed as either sponsorships or grants.

Sponsorships: Up to $10,000 each and are available for a one-time activity, like a virtual workshop, event, or publication, that serves the purpose or goals of this grant opportunity.

Small Grants: Up to $10,000 each and are availablefor ongoing activities or more resource-intensive activities, like a workshop series, internship, or series of publications that serves the purpose of this grant opportunity.

Please Note: Civic Life is offering sponsorships specific to the Disability Leadership program in order to provide more options to grantees, we do not currently provide sponsorships for general purposes.
