Advisory Groups

The Bureau Advisory Committee provides guidance on the Office of Community & Civic Life’s goals, program priorities, and spending.
The Cannabis Policy Oversight Team (CPOT) is an advisory body that provides the Office of Community & Civic Life with diverse stakeholder perspectives on cannabis-related public policies.
The New Portlanders Policy Commission works to integrate immigrant and refugee communities’ voices into the City of Portland's policies and decision-making. Commission members are immigrants, refugees, community advocates, and live, work, play, or pray in the City of Portland.
This volunteer advisory board works to improve neighborhood livability by striking a balance between sound-generating activities related to construction, special events, and other issues, and the desire for livable communities.
The Public Involvement Advisory Council (PIAC) works with the City of Portland to effectively support community input—especially from underserved communities—to ensure that city decisions, policies, and programs respond to the needs of our diverse Portland community.
