While the changes depicted in the image will not be implemented immediately, they may become feasible as redevelopment takes place and transit improvements are implemented. In the short term, the Building a Better 82nd Avenue project is designed to enhance safety, setting the stage for future improvements to be integrated over time in alignment with the City’s Transportation System Plan.

South Corbett and Carolina Sewer Repair Project

Construction is anticipated to start in the Summer of 2024 and will take up to four months to complete.

West Lents Floodplain Restoration Project

Project design began in 2019 and will continue through 2024. Construction is expected to begin in early March 2025 and will be completed by mid-February 2026.
