Opportunity Mapping

Information
The Opportunity Map identifies levels of opportunity in Portland neighborhoods. Using a 5-point scale, the map is based on variables that include childhood education, employment, transportation, access to family wage jobs, and access to community amenities that promote heathy, active living.
PBOT has updated the PBOT Development Review Manual to Creating Public Streets and Connections. This manual contains information for designing public improvements consistent with the authority granted to PBOT under City Code in relation to land use and building permit actions.

We are tracking one audit that made six recommendations to Planning and Sustainability.
Parking plans and reports for various areas in Portland.
The proposed Portland Streetcar Montgomery Park Extension Project is planned to extend the Portland Streetcar to the Montgomery Park office building in Northwest Portland and includes a complete rebuild of NW 23rd Avenue between NW Lovejoy and Vaughn streets.
A transportation-themed class with an emphasis on land use, mobility, social justice and racial equity. The fall 2023 class will be conducted in person in accordance with PSU. Class time will be used for presentations from guest speakers, activities and class discussion.
