City Charter Section

  1. The Mayor appoints members of boards and commissions subject to Council confirmation. The Mayor appoints, subject to Council confirmation, the City Administrator, the City Attorney and the Chief of Police. Heads of other offices and bureaus are appointed by the City Administrator.
